His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, President of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, has given His High Instructions for the immediate commissioning of centres developed by the Foundation in the fields of healthcare, disability support, and vocational training, for the benefit of vulnerable populations.

13 new healthcare centres have been constructed, equipped and completed are now operational across eight prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom. These facilities form part of the Foundation’s major intervention programmes aimed at improving access to primary healthcare, enhancing care for persons with disabilities, and supporting youth through vocational training and socio-professional integration.

The centres fall under three core programmes: the Proximity Medical Centres – Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity (CMP), the Mohammed VI National Centre for the Disabled (CNMH) Network, and the National Programme for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictive Behaviours.

A new CMP will be inaugurated in Salé, with an investment of 85.5 million dirhams, bringing to six the number of CMP units currently operational out of twelve planned nationwide.

In the area of disability support, a new regional branch of the CNMH will open in Beni Mellal, at a cost of 30 million dirhams, increasing the total number of CNMH centres across the Kingdom to nine.

In El Aroui, a new haemodialysis centre will be launched with a budget of 10 million dirhams. This facility will complement the services provided by the adjacent Mohammed VI Hospital, thereby improving care for patients suffering from renal failure.

The programme to combat addictive behaviours continues to expand, with the opening of three new centres in Chefchaouen (6.5 million dirhams), Al Hoceima (6.5 million dirhams), and Beni Mellal (4.5 million dirhams). These new centres will raise the number of operational addiction treatment centres to 18, spread across 15 cities throughout the Kingdom.

Furthermore, six vocational training centres will soon be inaugurated, focusing on high-potential sectors aligned with market needs. These include:

  • The Metalwork and Welding Training Centre in Tit Mellil (94 million dirhams),
  • The Agricultural Training Centre in Souk El Arbaa (34 million dirhams),
  • The Electricity and Electronics Training Centre in Sidi Othmane, Casablanca (32.5 million dirhams),
  • The Tertiary Sector Training Centre in L’Oasis, Casablanca (25 million dirhams),
  • The Tourism Training Centre in Chefchaouen (15.2 million dirhams),
  • The Handicrafts Training Centre in Chefchaouen (9.4 million dirhams).

These institutions are designed to equip young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with practical skills in sectors with strong employability potential.

Lastly, a socio-educational centre will open in Izemouren (3.5 million dirhams), the first facility of its kind in this locality in Al Hoceima Province. It will serve as a space for youth education and professional orientation.

The management of these various centres will be ensured, depending on the area of intervention, by the Foundation’s institutional partners, namely: the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Ministry of Tourism, the State Secretariat for Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy (under the Ministry of Tourism), the Office for Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT), as well as specialized non-profit organizations.

With the commissioning of these new facilities, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity reaffirms its commitment to improving access to healthcare, training, and support services for vulnerable communities, with proximity and solidarity at the core of its mission.
